Fairies, Angels and Wicca

| So I have been traipsing through the boards. I was wondering how many here have an affinity for the wee folks or the Angels. I feel strongly that both have a place in the craft. Maybe it depends on the path upon which you tread. I am an Avalonian witch, Queen Madb being one of the deities that I work with. Of course there is Merlin, Nimue, Arthur and Guinevere. Fairies play an important role in this form of Wicca. They have an archetypal form for the wee people within each of us. In Buckland's books he often refers to the archangels. I do totally believe that there are Wiccans who can work Christianity into their faith in a positive way. Now as for Kabbalastic Wiccans, well the Kabbalah has its roots in Judaism and before that. Celtic Wicca anyone? Similar the path of Avalon, but following the Celtic Gods and Goddesses, the true Mabignon lies here. Who's a Kitchen Witch? Is that a form of the craft? Oh heck yeah it is! I myself am secondly, a kitchen witch. There is magic in everything I cook, every craft I make, etc. It is a great path and goes hand in hand with... Being a Hedge witch. If you have the garden of Eden in your backyard, and 2 green thumbs then this is you!! I wish I had 1 green thumb... Let's not forget Gerald Gardner and Gardnerian Wicca, still a classic path! Alexandrian Wicca, steeped in mystery as in Egyptian Wicca... So many paths, so few feet. Blessed be! |
