| My name is Brighid, and here is my story. All of my life, I have felt different. All of my life, I have felt that I was destined for something more. It wasn’t until recently that I discovered this to be true. About a month ago, I had my very first psychic reading. I had never put much store in it, to be honest with you, but it was something I had always wanted to try. As it turned out, my experience proved to be life altering. The woman who did my reading not only knew things about me that no one could possibly know, but she also gave me a shocking bit of news. She told me I had a tremendous light inside of me. She told me I was powerful. She told me the reason I never fit in was because I am, in fact, different. She was kind enough to give me a few books on practical magick and on contemporary witchcraft. Ever since then I have been reading and researching insatiably. I have come to this message board in the hope of finding like-minded souls, and to find out if the Wiccan community is really where I belong. Although I am new to the practice, I would be so grateful if you would share your stories and your knowledge with me. Thank you for taking the time to listen. I turn to you now as my new friends and teachers, hoping to learn and grow both spiritually and intellectually in any way that I can. | Welcome Brigid! Wicca is not always an easy path (but what is) But I have found if you stick with it it can be very spiritually rewarding. | Welcome to the craft! It's a long hard journey and you will always be learning. Take your time and really understand what you are researching. It's the most rewarding religion I have studied. When I was younger I went on a huge religious search, I too always felt like I was different. I always found myself being pulled back to Wicca. |
