Help! Destructive people harming my sacred garden!
Posted by enchantedsb on 2010-09-03 19:00:45
Our garden is a sacred place, where we grow food and herbs for ourselves and several families in the area whom have fallen on hard times. We have been suffering attacks at the hands of a 7 year old child and an elderly woman in the neighborhood. The child continues to go around our rosemary hedge, and destroy anything she can. I have tried showing her how wonderful these sacred plants can be, and have even tried talking to her father (Who himself is at witts end with her behavior.) The elderly lady is unhappy that when bought the house, took out the lawn and planted herbs, trees and flowers. She has lft threatening letters in our mail box, and even had the nerve to tell me that she was going to call the police because our dog was whinning in the back yard the day after I had surgery.(Not at night, but durring the day.) I only want peace, and for my sacred garden to be safe. The protection spell I cast work for a couple of days, but then it begins again...Does anyone have a spell that might protect my garden, and the animals (Both wild and domestic) that call it home?

Hi there. How about a fence? Have you heard the story about the chicken who grew wheat, made flour, baked bread all on her own. All her neighbors made fun of her and disrespected her, much less wouldn't help her. When she made her bread though, they all went running to ask for some...I'd make the garden a secret garden. You could enlist the Fae if your work well with them. The little kid is pushing buttons and probably needs something for add (my daughter has it and she gets very destructive sometimes. As for the old woman, maybe she is bitter for other reasons but taking it out on you. Don't back down and if she calls the cops because your dog barks, then she'll eventually get in trouble for abusing 911-it's against the law.
IMO...

Thank you for your thoughts! Fences are not allowed in our city, though we have planted a hedge.(It's not quite big enough yet) Blessings!

Post no tresspassing signs and send a certified letter to both. Alter the police about the threating letters that is harassment communications like a phone call only written. If she continues sorry to say , seek the matters in law.. Its sad people do this to others but you may have no choice to do it.

No fences? Where do you live? A hedge is good too though. A certified letter is a good idea. I had to take care an elderly woman once. Oh she hated everyone. She would follow me around her house while I cleaned up coz she didn't trust me. It took me about 3 months for her to get to like me. I alsways talked aobut my parents and grand parents, growing up in NY. I would tell her my grand parents stories of the great depression. Once she was able to talk to me, that was it. She considered like a daughter. 10 months later she passed but we have a lovely friendship. I think I helped her in her relationships with other people. She had calmed down alot. So maybe if you made her some cookies, sounds like there is alot of ice to break...

if a hedge is not growing fast enough trim it once every few months and care for it as you would a child since fences are not allowed try a spell of protection or protection crystals if you do not have any crystals get some Wicca together and make some you could also try a dog or reporting it to authority's after a few reports they usually tend to spend time around the area to monitor it i hope for the best

Blessings On You And Your Sacred Garden

Maybe the old woman and children are disagreeable for a reason. Maybe you could cast a spell of understanding for them.

you know the saying, can't beat them, joy'n them ? very old was used by the Vikings when they invaded a country and couldn't beat them, they made friends and settled in and stayed for 1200 years this way in Denmark ! try anything you can to make them your friends, bake a cake, have a tea party.
Good Luck :))

If you can't have a full sized fence, like a chainlink kind, try a small garden fence with a small door. Then just lock it. My mom had the same problem of little kids doing the same thing a few year ago. We couldnt have a full sized fence but garden fences were allowed as long as it was no higher then an adults waist.

Thank you everyone! We have had some resolution here. We have not heard from our older neighbor for several days now. One of our other neighbors heard her harassing me right after my surgery, so he went and had a talk with her...Not sure what happened, as he wouldn't hurt a fly. All I know is she has not bothered us.
As for the little girl. We are in the process of choosing a 3' fence.(That is allo the city will allow) We have posted a no tresspassing sign, and she hasn't destroyed anything in a few days. We have a little "Creature" who had been away from the garden for months. It has returned...On the same day that the little girl did her last damage in fact. :)
