Sacred Sexuality

Okay so I see that some people are concerned about others forcing their will on someone or using magic to obtain a sexual partner.
Magic worked to obtain a partner just because you desire them is wrong. It is out of the natural order of things, It doesn't matter if you're straight or gay or bi.
Sexuality as in all acts of pleasure are ritual to the Goddess. It is meant to be an act of love and union, not deprivation and demeaning. Sex is sacred.
It is unfortunate that we are stuck in a society that clings to Victorian ideals and religions that really serve no purpose. It's also unfortunate that most religions say that Sex is a sin unless two people are married, and even then, it's a sin.
I just wonder how the world would be if everyone treated sexuality as sacred, and in the act of love, treated your partner as sacred. And, in all this sacred sex what if we also honored the earth as sacred.
Sacred sex is by far the most important ritual two people can take part in. It does not matter if it is between the opposite sexes or not, just try and keep it in the species ok? And amongst adults.
Let's throw Freudian psychology to the wind for a bit. Forget all those complexes. Freud had most of them and was a coke head. Let's just think about the sacred act itself minus all the psycho babble.
There are better principles in Gaian sexuality. Gaian sexuality is very close to the Great Rite
and throws in Mother Earth for good measure. Certainly people can worship the earth while they are worshiping each other. It's an easy concept. The body is a portal to the earth, and sacred sex a pathway into the depths of the sensuous body.
There are simple things we can all do. Know that you are sexual being-never fail to manifest your needs, this can be done without causing harm to yourself or others. Love yourself and love others as your would yourself. Take time to savor touch, feel and enjoy. Experiment with new ideas, but only commit to those that fulfill your needs. Surrender. Meditate and appreciate the quiet. Savor your loved one, don't just touch, but feel, stroke, pinch, nibble. Be spontaneous. Honor the Goddess in every woman and the God in every man.
That being said, know that every act of love is Sacred to the Goddess (and God) but should also be sacred to you.
I will now be quiet to let everyone ponder the complexity of it all...just kidding, it's actually quite simple.

In some religions, it is sin.
Outside of religion, it really has no meaning at all. Virginity has no meaning anymore. Out of my circle of friends in school, none of them are virgins, and six are teen mothers.
Virtue doesn't place as highly anymore, and it is sad. |

I don't understand why some religions and sections of society want to try to make people think sex is some how degrading or "sinful". I don't know about them but when I have sex its an act of pleasure and joy. If it is otherwise for them its because they've made it so. |

It is very sad how jung people use their bodies, I always wonder, what about love ? what about the special moment with the person you love ?
Is this all lost ? I try to teach my Sons to be aware and to respect their own body and others and that sex is more just then an act between to people. I just hope they understand and they will find love and realize how special love ( sex ) is.
We should not give up on our young people, keep talk to them and try to show them how sacret and special love is.

But, as with most things, love doesn't count for much these days and I lost my love, but I still had my daughter. Now, she is grown and in medical school and walks the path as well. Without love, sex is just sex. Meaningless and empty. I found something that has strengthened my heart and soul and he stands beside me through it all. This is what comes from patience and waiting for the right one to come to you. Two hearts become one, that is the way it is meant to be. Not just two bodies fulfilling an urge, but two souls becoming intertwined. Sex is indeed sacred.

Sexuality has no quarrel with humans, whither you are Homosexual, Heterosexual or Bisexual is up to you, and your heart example I see all humans as the same and both male and female have quite attractive features but each time i was with a man or woman i did it because i love them. So sexuality is sacred in a personal way, I guess. |
