ok why dont we have wiccan and pagan holidays out of school? we have christian holidays off. just like wiccan and pagan holidays arent in the calander. why is this? its not fair or right. i mean mabon is coming up and i have to be in school for it even tho id like to have that day off to celebrate it like christains get to do with their holidays. is there any way to make it so the holidays will be in a calander and we get that day off of school? like a patition or something?? bc if so id be so willing to try to make it happen idk bout u guys

I'm not sure why that is so. I usually took a "personal day due to religious beliefs" and that usually kept my school of my back for a little while. If they have a problem with it, explain that wicca is a legit spirituality that even military chaplains have handbooks for. Remember to always back up your beliefs with logic and reason.

i would do that but my parents would never let me because one: they're from the christan branches and two: they'd see school as a more important thing then that because they'd just say i could celebrate it after school. jw, how many of you out there would be willing to sign a petition to make pagan holidays noticed and to have those days out of school and put in the calander if i started one because i'm really thinking about it? as soon as i get the rules about a petition and as soon as i know how to get it reconized after i get all of the sigs i prob will do it.

You can but you have to request it.by the civil rights act of 64 like at work it has to be honored with reason if they refuse its a violation of your rights.
