My belly confuses and pains me

Ok before i get into this i'll just say that first off i dont know if this is 'abnormal' or not. if so, any helpful suggestions are welcome. if not, oh well i guess its just another teenage thing...even though im almost a legal adult by US standards.
anyway here's the thing: most school days, i get up get ready and pop a piece of gum in my mouth before catching the bus. my school has a breakfast program so i just eat there. so i take out my gum, eat breakfast and chew my gum again or get a new piece. i find this keeps me from feeling hungry or eating when im bored, which i used to do alot when i was little. i preferred fruit over candy any way so mum had nothing to worry about regarding my snaking habits which hold fast to this day.
for the past two days, i havnt had any gum and my stomach hurts when there's nothing in it. im in high school so we dont get snack time or allowed to have food in class. a water bottle, okay, but i usually forget it. breakfast is served till 8:10 when the bell rings. by then im already done. over four hours later lunch is served. my stomach usually starts a dull, ignorable ache about an hour before that so by the time lunch rolls around, it reeealy hurts. so i eat lunch but slowly cuz in my experience, eating it fast just makes things worse.
about half an hour later im fine. then i dont feel hungry untill about 9 or 10 at noight, which is really screwy 'cause thats when i should be going to sleep.
so pretty much all in all, im not sure if this pain is tied to my gum chewing or what. i dont eat large meals cause im being a healthier person and overeating just makes me feel like a glutton. im not saying i think im fat cause i dont and i never have been but ive never really been super skinny either. i believe one guy i mat says that my build reminds him of an amazonian warrioress(i think thats the right term) and i could tell he didnt mean it in an insulting way or lying. and im getting off topic again.
i cant blame the pains on womans cramps 'cause the pain isnt that low in the abdomen and its been a few days since the lunar cleansing has cycled. bottom line, im clueless.
sorry if this seemed like a rant but its just one of my many quirks. Blessign to everyone :)

| Posted by Raito9 on 2010-09-21 20:34:08 | Gum is no substitute for food.
I don't mean to sound obvious or anything, but could it just be a hunger pain?
The way you explain it makes it sound like you have long periods of time in between meals. It sounds like you're not feeding your body when it needs it.
It could just be you're hungry. |
