| That's a little bit tricky. I believe you can follow whatever you want. After all, no religion is unique in itself. All religions are connected by something. You said you're only ten? If the matter confuses you, perhaps it would be best to just hold off on magic and research witchcraft. Remember, you don't have to be Wiccan to practice witchcraft. Wicca is the religion, witchcraft is the practice. Take your time, and read. A lot. See what witchcraft and magic are all bout before making your desicion. After all, this is a choice no on here can make for you. This is personal. This effects YOUR relationship with the God you choose to follow. Only you can decide in the end. |

| Great post Raito :) If I may add to your post, You say your friends make fun of you, why do you feel the need to tell them? Religion is a very personal thing and sometimes silence is the best way to go about it. Being a witch means you will have times when you'll find yourself being made fun of, called names, bashed, etc. That's because witchcraft and witchcraft related religions are often misunderstood and I can understand that people might scoff when they hear someone call themselves something that has always been thought of as just fantasy. Akin to someone calling themselves an elf or unicorn. We are taught that witches don't exist, that they're just halloween fun. I also have to add that maybe you should wait a while, legally your parents decide your religion and what you can and cannot practice until you're of the age of majority (Often 18)so if they're against your choice of faith, it might make it harder than you think. |
