Montana - View the eclipse / celebrate solstice

| Hello, I will be camping out and photographing the eclipse. All are welcome to join. Meeting place is: 45° 23.527N, 109° 45.925W Copy and paste this into Google maps if you don't have a GPS. Come out any time you wish on the evening of 21-Dec-10. Moon rise is at about 5:15 pm, full eclipse data here: http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/OH2010.html#LE2010Dec21T I will only be there if the weather report indicates a reasonable chance of getting some good photos (low cloud cover). | OK, So - I am a bit slow it seems!! I printed out all the data and noted the eclipse was on the 21st, but was thinking Tuesday night. Duh!! The longest night is tonight and the "official" time of the eclipse is around 1am on the 21st. I will be headed out tonight to watch at the above coordinates if anyone is interested in hanging out in 10 degree weather! Zoie (my blue heeler) is in, but she is in for most anything. Stephan |
