New Orleans Panel on Wicca

| New Orleans Lamplight Circle (www.meetup.com/lamplight)is embarking on a long-term project to explore different spiritual topics with the Pagan community at-large. We have invited experienced Pagans from across the greater New Orleans metro area to speak TO YOU about Wicca. Our panel will explore topics within Wicca that are relevant to all Pagans, and they will be able to answer your questions as well, whether you are a neophyte or have practiced Wicca for several years. Our panel consists of: Charlotte Pipes (solitaire of 20 years, former professor at Nichols State University, current faculty at Psychic School House online, psychometrist, herbologist, and rune reader) Debra Jefferies (founder of Solitaires of New Orleans and NOLA Merry Meet, custodian of the Buckland Museum of Magic and Folklore, 4th Degree and current High Priestess of Covenant of the Pentacle Wiccan Church, tarot and rune reader) Helen Osterhold (solitaire of 12 years, formerly of Keepers of the Cauldron - Lafayette under Emerald Star, professional tarot reader since 2005, psychometrist and astrologer, senior member of New Orleans Lamplight Circle and NOLA Merry Meet) Clifton Eikon (3rd degree High Priest of Coven of the Gryphon Wiccan Church, owner of Gryphon's Nest Campground, and named plaintiff in the Anti-Divination Ordinance lawsuit in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.) This is (as far as I know) the first time that members of different organizations have gotten together to provide a knowledgeable open forum for those interested in Wicca. It will (hopefully) be the first of many forums, exploring many different aspects of Paganism. We want the entire community to get behind this and not only learn more about Wicca from those who have practiced it for years, but also support your local Pagan organizations.
