What Would You Like Your Coven To Be Like?

| I have been in two covens, one was going along just fine until the High Priest let a young girl covenor get to him and his little head did the thinking and the coven jsut came apart. The other coven I went to made up of refugees from the first coven just fell apart too. I like being a Solitary witch but I miss the coven. I recently found out that the old coven had changed, that the problems had been solved but I am still leery of going back to that. There is no democratic rule in that coven and I seriously dislike control freaks. So, I would like to see a situation where solitary's can get together for esbats and sabbats but not necissarily be so close that there are any control issues. It wouldn't be quite as organized but it would (I think) fit the ideal situation for most witches. What kind of coven would you like to be in? |

| For me I have not been in a coven. An small group is more like mine that consisted of me and two of my friends. But if I was in one. I would want it to be a understanding one and one that there was hardly any drama due to arguments on daily basis. But the small lil group like what I have been in for a while I would say has been awesome and wonderful. |

| I've also never been apart of a coven but I hope when and if the day comes that it is a place free of "control freaks". A place where everyone has input and feels they belong! |

| I have never been in a coven either; however, it seems to me that the ideal situation would have some sort of revolving "leader" just for running a gathering, not for making rules or governing over any particular member. I would like to see a coven consist of a free thinking group and each celebration would be led by the next person in line. This would provide a nice fluid gathering without anyone having an agenda since the "leader" wouldn't really be in charge of the coven, just in charge of making a particular gathering go well. Maybe I am not describing a coven at all, maybe I am just describing a way for solitaires to gather and celebrate in unison. That being said, a coven could be a group of solitaires, couldn't it? |

| I am a solitary practioner, but I would love to be a part of a coven to celebrate Esbats and Sabbats with. I think it would a very beautiful thing. I would like the people to be kind, loving, and open-minded. |
