Scams Out of Africa, and Other Places
Posted by Daphnis on 2011-02-02 15:37:00
I've been getting emails from people who are obviously not from the United States. This is usually people trying to scam you for money. What they don't know is, we Americans are generally as poor as they are.

Delete their emails and you will be much better off for it.

Just a suggestion.

Yeah seriously. These people are the worst kind of evil. They will take your money and they care nothing about your life; many of them are murderers and kidnappers.

While I don't recommend trying any of these techniques at home, I had quite a laugh over seeing some of the 419 scammers get messed with.

check out a web site called: 419 Eater.

It's really funny. Again, these scammers are dangerous people. I don't recommend messing with them.

Yeah that's called an Advance-Fee Fraud. They tell you that you won the Canadian lottery and you just have to pay a small Winners Tax in order to claim your money.

What's sad is that people will pay the money, and then the scammer will say, thanks, now you have to pay a "handling fee" of 2% of your winnings and we will cut you a check.

Then people pay more money to the scammer. What they don't seem to get is that there never IS any money. The scammer will NEVER send you anything. They just string people along for as long as they can.

The worst part about this kind of fraud is that they often target senior citizens. They con older people who may be more trusting.

I got one out of Africa, from some one named Tina Don a while back and just now from some one named rosebaby. I told them that i'll help so long as it doesn't involve a money transaction, and they sent a message that said mostly what the first one said. "Help me, I have a large sum of money, and I'll share with you if you help me." Sorry people but if some one asks me to help with money problems, they can go frag themselves. I'm not a mean person, but seriously they need to grow up and get a job, but in this world I will say that it is easier said then done.
