Can someone help me?

I read a book on palm reading and so i read my own palm and maybe im overeacting but my life line is cut short. It's just stops early, so does that mean im going to die at a young age? On my left hand it contines, but your left hand represents the past, and your right hand the future, right?

That's one of the problems with books; some are high quality and some are low quality. It was irresponsible of the author of your Palm Reading book to simply suggest the length of the "life line" indicates how long you will live.

I have known 18 year olds with deep, strong, long life lines who got drunk and died in a car crash (their own fault) at age 18. So much for a "long life."

It's just like the Tarot deck when people get the "Death" card. They think they are going to die. It doesn't mean that.

From what I understand in Palmistry, the "life line" indicates how strongly and vibrantly you *live* your life. Just as in the Tarot, the "death" card indicates a change, like ending one chapter of a book and beginning another. So both of these things, the life-line in your palm and the death card in the Tarot, they don't mean what you think they mean at first glance!

A more responsible Palmistry book would have explained that a short, shallow life line could indicate that you are controlled by others. I.e. a passive personality. Again, it's *how* you live your life, not a calendar next to your thumb.

Personally I don't have much faith in palmistry. Your life is what you choose to make it. Your choices--basically how you live your life--have more to do with how long you live. Wearing your seatbelt and choosing not to drive drunk mean more than the lines in your hand do!

If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time with that stuff. I think you would have a better experience if you visited a professional Astrologer and had your chart done. It's a lot more fun and your astrologer won't say, "OMG your Mars is in the 13th house, you're going to have a short life! Oh noes!" Telling people "you're gonna die" is simply irresponsible. You should throw away that palm-reading book.
