Fear

| Having been in the Marine Corps overseas(Vietnam), I was taught "NO FEAR". I have since learned differently. W/out fear there is no bravery. A quote I heard a long time ago. I just joined this network and to be honest I can't believe how scared I am to see so many people claiming to be spiritual wanting to hurt or get even with someone. I am at a loss for words to describe the feeling I get listening to people trying to USE spells to get rid of their "problems". For those of us who know, the only way to get rid of problems is to face them and deal with them. Practicing witchcraft/wicca, just like any religion, only gives one the strength to carry on. There aren't any quick fixes in this life or the next no matter your belief system. Casting spells are for you and you alone, not as a way to control or manipulate things or people. We all know the difference between good and evil. No religion makes you a good person. That only comes with practice. That is why we say "practicing witchcraft/wicca instead of "using". Please ask for help anytime you need it and follow your heart for the good of all. To make someone do your bidding is called Fascism. Please remember the burning times and never use your religion to cause harm. Thank you and Blessings to all. |

| Posted by thelostone on 2011-02-28 15:23:45 | I appreciate the service. I just got out of the marine corps after a tour to iraq and the gan...not quite so crazy as vietnam but I still know that know fear thing you're talking about. I was marine corps infantry until december of last year.
anyway, not going to lie starting that message I was working up some anger when you said "I can't bleieve how may people claim to 'use' magic". I thouht you were leading up to a "you people defy god" thing. lol.
good message though. I was reading an article a few days ago about white magic can turn black if its and I hate to use this term now, "used", for lack ofa better term, incorrectly. if its white magic with the intent of harm it turns black and evil will be returned in 3 fold. the article made a valid point. if your meaning to harm them behind their bac instead of facing them and comfronting them...well you deserve whatever happens to you. from my understanding of wiccan teachings its the teachings to comfront your problems and and not to run from them. |

In other words,in defence.seems like ppl forget about their guirdian angels and spirit guides.they are there to help us through difficult times and make the path clear for us.
I might be wrong and pls forgive me if i am,but i think theres alot of ppl who claim to be pegan or in wicca just for the name and the stigma of it.if you treuly are pegan you would never even think of cousing harm to another.
Love and blessings to all |
