| I am very new to the Wiccan religion and I really need help! If there is any Wiccans willing to lend a helpful hand I could use it: Is a Book of Shadows used for notes? Is using spells like love charms considered bad? Where are Wiccan meetings at and when? What tools do I need 2 use? How do I get them or make them? Should I always say Merry Meet and Blessed Be? What holidays should I celebrate (I do know Samhain but not how a Wiccan would celebrate it)? I can't find these things on th websites my computer will go on! |

| Your book of shawdows is everything you do in magick. You can keep your notes but spells and how they worked,rituals,exercises,everything. Love charms are okay but only to bring love to you, don't impose on someone else's will. For Wiccan mettings or rituals it depends on what's available where you're at. In Nevada there is the Pagan Alliance of Nevada but not so in other states. Type in wicca in Ohio and see.Tools are pentacle for north, athame(knife)or wand for east,wand or athame for south, chalice for west. Make or buy them doesn't matter, what you do with them does.Say merry meet and blessed be in ritual,elsewhere if you want to. The holidays can get rather involved on the ways to celebrate but you really need to get a book. Most of the basic wicca books have all this info and more. They are even available in the major book stores at the mall. |
