| He was a Satyr, from greek lore. I think he is elevated to god from a wiccan veiw because of his appearence and nature. I'm not certain on the later, but look into the greeks if you wish to know about Pan. The light illumine you. I hope I helped a bit. |

| Pan is the god of the Goats and the wild forrest. He fell in love with a nymph named Syrinx who detested Pan so she turned herself into a reed by a pond. Pan was heartbroken and used the read to make a set of musical pipes, the pan pipes and he is famous for having his pan pipes with him. Pan also had a lover named Daphnis, Daphnis dumped Pan for a woman who broke his heart and blinded him. Daphnis spent the rest of his days playing Pan Pipes to the sheep in the fields. Today there is a moon of Jupiter named Pan and one named Daphnis. I'm partial to Pan, when I did my scrying ritual to determine the God who would look out for me, it was Pan who came to me. |
