is it wrong?
Posted by wiccanpuppy on 2011-04-16 17:23:46
I have gone to catholic school all my life for 13 years. i was introduced to Wicca three years ago by my best friend during summer pe. Now that i know for a fact that Wicca is the right path/faith for me, i have been feeling very uncomfortable during theology class listening to my teacher talk about how great God is and then talk about hell and how we choose it and a whole bunch of other teachings that just seem all too judgemental and wrong. Is it wrong for me to want to rant about it with someone and actually do? i feel kind of bad, but at the same time it's not very fair to me that i have to keep everything bottled up inside...

It's not wrong to want to rant though we know more truth than they and that's why you always see everyone looking for other Wiccans in their area. It's so much easier to be with people who understand things the way we do than to bite our tongues to keep from damaging the brainwashing that they seem to enjoy and have blind faith in. I haven't seen my alter in two years because the Christians that I have been near don't think I need it but they wouldn't hear of me not letting them go to church.

It's not wrong to rant, and you feelings are understandable.

Though, you shouldn't really bear ill feelings towards them. Blind Faith is in all religion, even wicca. You blindly believe that what it tells you is true, just as they blindly believe that their god is real. All religion is on the same level.

I'm not saying the believers are. But before you go bad-mouthing them, think about how you feel when they bad-mouth you. Do two wrongs make a right? Are you doing the same to them that they do to you?

I'm not telling you to bottle everything up. Let it out, just don;t turn into a hater, or some of the people here that can't stop belittling Xtians and other god-believers.

Remember, no religion has the right to say another is wrong. All people have blind faith in their beliefs.

You seem like a good person. I'm sure you'll know what to do.

Actually I do know the truth and most of Wicca is correct. I have had recorded conversations with high ranked spirits, they asked me to change Christianity to be more like Wicca. So if you find my comments one sided it's only because I have done the work in the other world and I have the proof to back up what I say.

Wait, are you upset at my comment?

No need to be, just stating what I know. Don't you find it funny that you expect people to take your word for it?

Are you going to say that a Xtian who says God speaks to them and tells them that they are on the right path is only in blind faith? What gives you the right and knowledge to say that their faith is blind?

You talking to your spirits is no different than them talking to their god. They will say the same thing you just told me. God tells them they are living the right way and their path is right, just as your spirits tell you that your path is right.

There really isn't a lot of difference, besides who your praying to.

Actually they don't record their conversations. The main spirit I talked to was the main assistant to the council. Until you have experienced his power you cannot know how true what he says is. The council has all those who have tried to make the Earth a better place. Jesus is on that council and knows what they want me to do. I didn't even believe in Jesus before this. I'm not saying what they believe is false but the book that was written by men that they follow is mostly lies and they turn a blind eye to the facts. They did tell me those that lied in the bible were punished for it. The only problem I have is when someone has not lived long enough to come close to having all the experience that I have trying to say that they know the way it is. When you have been to the other side and done the kind of underworld work that I have done then I can respect the information that you have

Ah, I see. This old argument again. You have no wisdom unless you have age.

Would have considered my words more if I had lied on my profile and pretended to be as old as you?

Simply put, you can't possibly deem what counts as life experience. Just because I'm young doesn't mean I haven't experienced life and made my own observations. I've seen the way different religious people interact time and again.

So for the sake of arguing, let's be real. I know that you will never consider my words or wisdom because apparently I have none until I've at least hit menopause.

While I'll consider your words, I'll admit I'm stubborn. It takes a lot more than a stranger online who I can never verify to tell me anything that will change my mind. For all I know, you lied on your profile.

And for all you know, I lied on mine.

So, really, this is quite pointless. I just don't want this guy to start ranting and raving about Xtians because some of them treat him like some of us treat them.

Not all Xtains are mean. Never judge a whole based on the actions of a few. If we did, every religion would be screwed. We have all had extremists.

That said, I'm going to go play F.E.A.R. and hope that someday, you'll learnt hat wisdom is infinite, and not restricted to age or gender.
