| I've seen many posts about "Dark Arts" and some spells posted about "Satan ...." I've seen posts about people wishing to learn how to work magic and shoot fire or lightning at someone. None of that is TRUE Wicca. Satan is a poor slander of pan, there is no "Satan". Satan was a CHRISTIAN invention to make wiccans look evil and malevolent. We don't curse and hurt others, we bless, heal, protect, learn, teach.. And we sure as hell don't through fire around as though it's some kind of beach-ball... I've been occasionally active for a couple of days and have seen WAY too much about a whole bunch of fictional wicca. If any of you are about REAL wicca rather than this rebel/fan crap I keep seeing I have yet to see you. Please don't take offense, but there's just so much stuff posted here that goes against my belief and the way I was taught. When one doesn't follow the three-fold law, they aren't a wiccan and are most-likely a witch instead. |

| I agree with you. But, instead of choosing just to leave, I have been selecting messages where I can post to try and teach a little. Perhaps no one listens, and continues to seek things that will only hurt themselves in the end, but I am at least going to try and help them see a choice. There may be a few good, honest folks in the bunch, even if they are hard to locate. Our faith isn't an easy one in this age. |

| I agree with tygerhawk, there is alot of ignorance out there, but there a few true wiccans here and i also try to help some that seem like they truely want to learn the oldways and simply need guidance..the others that want to shoot fire out of their fingertips, I ignore |

| In all honesty, I keep checking back and watching for messages in my inbox that need replying to. When I first spotted this place I had hoped to meet other wiccans from my county (no, that isn't a typo). Yet, if anyone in my county that doesn't know about wicca were to see this site, then their misguided opinions about us will become concreted. I sincerly hope to one day open the eyes of people in my county so that maybe they will be more tolerant of wicca and we won't be shunted out so fiercely here. |
