Feeling Guilt and Shame

| I follow the path and do my best to follow the Wiccan Way....however yesterday I found out some news that a person who hurt me horrifically in my past was in possible danger of loosing their life.....and for a very small second I wished it to come true.....I have NEVER wished harm come to anyone before....I am feeling emense guilt and shame....I pray to the goddess for forgiveness....Please share your thoughts with me )O( Blessed Be |

| Please, don't let guilt and shame over a momentary lapse in mental judgement cause you so much hurt. You must remember dear, we are Wiccan, not perfect. You've taken your first step, you've owned the thought, the hurt that caused you to feel this way and now; let it go. I have been a practicing Witch over 20 years, and while I am not Wiccan, this site gives me opportunity to meet others similar to myself, I've learned a great deal and one thing I've learned is that it does us no good and benefits not even those we may have hurt to carry guilt and condemnation in our hearts because we've made a bad. There isn't a human being alive that hasn't done what you've done, anything to the contrary just isn't so. Have a Very Happy Yule ! |

| Being Wiccan is not being above human emotions. Know them for what they are and that is a natural release. Now that they are out there and gone, release yourself from this and get on with the best part of this and make peace with yourself and the person involved. All will be well. |
