What I read in a wiccan bible

| I was wondering if this was true of what I read in a wiccan bible, if anyone has also read it. It has said to get closer to nature through wicca, one must bury his or herself in the dirt inside the forest, nude, with only your head above dirt for at least a day |

There are other traditional things to try such as the American Indian tradition of a vision quest. You go out into nature with an open and clear mind to see what animals speak to you and hear what they have to say. You can also find animal totems this way. I feel this would put you closer to nature than sticking yourself in the ground and you could accomplish 3 or more things without getting as cold or dirty. |
