| You're right, Amanda. Most of the people burned during what we call "The Burning Times" weren't Wiccan. Sadly, many of them weren't witches either. The reason we, today, get so upset over it is simply because our religion evolved from what was known then as witchcraft. We are the modern "wise ones". Many people in the Burning times that were accused of witchcraft were nothing more than those who carried on the traditions of the wise ones; healers working with herbs and natural medicines, midwifes, ect.
