About meI have always been interested in nature as well as the "paranormal". I am a Christian and I plan on staying that way, however the draw to earth based religions, especially herbalism is very strong within me. I am a very nondogmatic sort of Christian and I value other religions and ways of thought. Currently I am reading into Christian Wicca and I would like someone to discuss the topic with.

I was chatting, one day, with the priest at a US Kali temple. He said that he was, originally, a devout Catholic and that his love for Mary eventually evolved into his love for Kali. Hi, have you read any works on Christian Gnosticim? You may find the gospels of Mary Magdalene, and others to be an interesting read. Some aspects of early Christianity were borrowed from Paganism to help early missionaries to convert pagans. Also if you look at the depictions of Isis holding Horus...they are very similar to the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus.
