About me My name is Summer, I am looking for friends who share my beliefs.I enjoy reading tarot and runes and i love to make and learn about spells. I started to learn about wicca about a year ago but i just recently began to get really into it. I found out that i share many of the same beliefs as wiccans and that's why i looked into it. I would love to be able to join a coven but i dont know any in my area and my parents do not know about my pratices and beliefs. They are extremely strict and disagree with everything involving wicca. and i live out in the middle of nowhere unfortunatly. I live in the horibly boring state of Iowa where there's nothing to do but watch corn grow. I met my teacher in a teenie town in Missouri so you'll be surprised at what you'll find when you're looking. Iowa isn't so bad, actually my favorite place I've lived so far out of the 4 states. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders, I hope you find what you're looking for.

Your rant is interesting, and right. People confuse Wicca and Satanism, mostly because of the Catholic slander. And the word "pagan" is a misnomer. It means "Nonbeliever" in ...Latin, I think. Kyra22011-03-23 11:32:20
I read you rant. You know, it's not only Wiccans that recieve bad words, but also witches. And also Pagans. There are many different variations, even satanic witchcraft, though it's not evil in any way. It doesn't hurt anyone either.
