I have had a 35 year love affair with Tarrot cards. I was first taught to interpret cards by my Paternal Grandmother, she used playing cards to teach me. She wanted to see if i had the family gift. I did.
I am also a good little Kitchen Witch. I love all things herbal. Besides, I just love cooking for people. Some of the best magic comes from good folk mixed with good food. My impromptu dinners led to 13 marriges over the last 17 years. No compulsion used...It's just amazing what made from scratch Itallian food does for the soul.
I am also mad for Renn faires and Cons. I love to costume. I am always looking for someone to dress up, as well as somewhere to wear the garb. I love ritual robes and cloaks...But I can only stuff so many in my closet. LOL
It must be genetic, most pagans I've met seem to have an "exhibition of style" gene somewhere. They love to be seen!
I also love needlework [all the better for charmed cloth to retain it's power] and woodworking and leatherworking. If there is a hobby that was done in the last 500 years, I have probably tried it, or am doing it at the moment.
MY HOBBY WISH LIST:
I'd like to find someone who plays the hammered Dulcimer...I am looking for lessons. I was gifted a beautiful dulcimer...but I have never taken a music lesson in my life. Can anyone help me? Please?
I also love to do research and reading. For every new thing I learn, I find there are ever more questions to answer.
I live with my Gargoyle Gerhard [protective significant other] and my 4 cats, on an old tree lined street in So. California.
