| Location | Arizona | | About me | 32 years old, married, mother of three sons. I was raised in the Catholic religion, even sent to Catholic school against my will. But I have always been drawn to Wicca. I never believed that one person Divine and Powerful or not could have created all this alone in 6 days. I have always known that their were Goddesses and Gods. I knew there could never be a place like hell cause if there was this so called Divine God and he supposedly loved all his children then why would he create this so called Hell and if he was all powerful and smart why did he go and create himself a nemesis like the Devil/Satan to lure his children to evil. No man who loves their children that much would lure them to evil unless he was mentally ill.... and I believe that we are all responsible for our own actions.. good or bad!!! There is no excuse such as "THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT!" And with all the bad stuff going on with the Catholic priests... I just couldn't bring myself to continue being a part of that. I went to church one day with my grandmother ( I call her BABCI cause we are Polish-American and she was born in Poland) and I put my money in the basket like a good little girl and then later on when I went in the back to wait for my grandfather (whom I called Dzadzi.. may the goddesses and gods rest his soul in the afterlife) he was one of the collectors of the baskets, I watched on as he argued with the Pastor of the church because my dzadzi caught him taking large amounts of money out of those baskets and putting them in his own pockets. I was appalled to have witnessed such an arguement. This man was supposed to be a man of the Lord as they called them and he was stealing from his Lord. The churches utilities were going to be turned off and so we all pitched in to save them and I find out this is why the utilities were being turned off cause this jerk stole our hard earned money we chose to donate to help our church stay afloat and instead we were helping his pocket fill up. Needless to say my grandfather threatened to turn him into the archdiocese and we were asked never to return to this church. But my grandfather still turned him in and as a result my grandmother, my mother are still able to attend this church as the archdiocese way of thanking my grandfather for stopping a thief. But after that incident I never could bring myself to set foot back into that church and with all the controversary I saw on TV about other parishes I chose to seek another spiritual path and Wicca just happened to draw me in. I believed in the Goddess and God already and I was a nature person love the earth and all her creatures. It was a perfect fit for me. I am just now trying to become a true Wiccan Witch and can use all the help I can get. I am a water sign so I am truely drawn to the element of water but I live in the desert so I am also drawn to the fire element... with all the forest fires it just angers me that people can do such a rotten thing to the earth.
Please befriend me I want to have other Wiccan friends. |
