| If we were to go by the Johnstoe seven points of church, wicca would be a denomination, not a church. When I say church, I do not mean a building. I am referring to sociological terms. Church is the highest point. Example, Christianity would be the church, while baptists, lutherans, methodists and the so on are the denominations. I would imagine that Paganism, or witchcraft in geneal would b the church for people like us. Since we all claim to be witches, yet we are not all wiccans, wiccan can not be the Church, can it? | You're information on cults was mostly correct. They are not always bad. Scientology is a defined cult. A cult is a religious group that has adapted aspects of current religions to form new religious movements. They are a little different from a sect, but not but not by much.
