House/dwelling protection spell. |

| This is a general protection charm for a house and or dwelling. (Normally when I am hired for this I try to cater the charm for those who will be utilizing it. But never the less it will work for you as well, if doing your abode or one you are hired out for.) This is a spell for a witch whom uses the magicks of Black, Purple and or Red. All others, I am cannot and will not guarantee the charm will be as effective. There is a small amount of Necromancy in this charm, therefore Black/purple is obviously the best at this. Hardware you will need….. 1 small vessel, glass any color. ( Cobalt blue recommended. ) 1. large vessel. Must be big enough, to hold the contents of the charm powder. See below for size amounts. I recommend a mason type jar. 1 incense holder. (If using resin or rock incense then please use the appropriate holder.) 1 mortar and pestle. 1 small funnel (optional) Software you will need. 1 candle, white in color. 1 teaspoon of dried garlic. (You can use garlic powder.) 1 to 3 ounces of Gum Arabic. 1 to 3 cups of salt. ( Table salt is fine, however Kosher and or rock salt will work best.) 3 to 5 sticks of dragons blood incense. ( If using rock or resin incense, please have enough for at least 3 full burns, and of course the appropriate briquettes for burning as well.) Preparation: First grind the dried garlic to a complete powder with the mortar and pestle. Even if using pre ground dried garlic powder, it can still be a bit course, so grinding will be a must. After grinding, place powdered garlic into the large clear vessel. Next grind the salt. Even if its table salt, you want something that is more finer of a grade then pickling salt, almost a powder. Add the salt to the large vessel. Next add the Gum Arabic to the large vessel. Mix completely! The salt and gum Arabic ratio is simple. For every cup of salt you use, you will be adding one ounce of gum Arabic. Obviously the garlic will hold 1 to 3 parts of the salt Arabic mixture. If you are making a bigger mixture like say a 4 cup/4 ounce mixture, then you must use another teaspoon of garlic to keep enough of the garlic in mix ratio. If you have say a 4 bedroom house, then the 3 cup salt mixture will work just fine. If you have a larger dwelling I recommend expanding the mixture some. And even if you have a smaller dwelling, you can always store the charm mixture for later on if you feel like protecting the home as a “Recharge.” I usually try to leave some extra mixture for those who hire me, If you are going to do this under a hiring phase, I recommend doing so as well. Casting the protection Charm: On the night of a full moons passing, light the dragons blood incense and begin to meditate. 15 minutes is a good amount of time for yourself or a group to clear thoughts and relax. Light the candle, and a second stick or batch of incense. Call out “Too the North, I command thee, too the South I command thee, too the West I command thee, and too the East I command thee! Come forth and do my bidding.” If you are being hired to do this, remember this is the time to collect half payment for the ritual. It is a sign to the godz you are the one who is accepting responsibility for any and all negative energies, Do it loudly by saying, “ Does the dweller(s) offer their riches? ” Allow them to hand over whatever half of the payment is. If you are doing this for a friend. Allow them to hand over 1 penny or whatever, but remember you must be able accept to two items at least. This is just the first half of payment. Next call out, “ To all Godz, come forward and hear my words. To all spirits, come forward and do thy bidding. Bless this dwelling in my name, I absorb any and all negative energies.” Take the charm powder and travel the course of the house, calling out upon each and every room traveled, “I command this dwelling to be cleared and protected in light.“ Sprinkle powder in every room. (Yes I know this will be mostly swept away, but even if you are using a shop vac on the carpet, there will always be some to remain. Let alone you must allow it to remain for 1 full day before cleaning it up, the charm will be applied.) Make sure a small amount (1 teaspoon at least ) of powder remains. Come back to where the ritual began. Call out “As the moon swells, so will the light in this abode, and never deplete.” Take the small amount of powder left and place it in the small glass vessel. If doing this for another, then hand them the vessel and say “I offer this to the dweller in love.” At this moment if you are hired for this, this is where they would hand you the second half of payment and have them state “I offer this in peace.” Light more incesence with the candle and Blow out the candle. (obviously close upon your closing expression of your own device… “So mote it be”, “Blessed Be.” Etc. If doing it for a hire or friend it is traditional to have a merry party in the name of Bacchus. (wine, women and song.) However even a soda or a glass of water and a pop tart is good as long as you are merry and happy. Remember the merry thoughts after the ritual are going to be echoed through time. And as I have found out from my previous jobs the more outlandish of a good time, the more protected and happier people have been as long as they lived there. |
