| Healing Poppet Cloth of your choice Scissors Needle and thread Herbs: Bay Lavender Rosemary Thyme Potatoes Santa Yerba Cut out cut 2 human shapes out of fabric of choice. I choose to make my poppet look more like who it was to represent. I embroidered hair and a face and even the name of the person on one of the pieces. Sew the shapes together but leave about 1/2in - 3/4in left to stuff the herbs in. Some cast a circle others don’t. This would be the time to do so. Cleanse and concentrate the poppet however you choose to do so. If you choose to call the corners please do so. In your right hand hold the poppet and say: "This poppet represents, (person’s name), he/she is in need of healing." As you place the herbs in the poppet say the flowing: “Bay for healing this life Lavender for longevity Rosemary to heal any wounds Thyme to renewing of one's personal energy Potatoes to heal with love Yerba Santa to heal to this ill child” Sew up the poppet. With the poppet in both hands hold it up to the sky and say: “God and Goddess, I ask for your help (Person’s name), one of your children is in need of healing With my love and understanding I heal this child of yours And asked that you do the same for (person’s name) With my love I heal you, (person’s name) with many blessings So mote it be” If you called the corners and casted a circle, thank and dismiss the corners and closed the circle. Store the poppet in hidden safe place if you don’t plan to give it to the person it represents. Note: I casted this on my coworker who is always ill and causes a great deal of stress on everyone, including me, in my department as there are only 4 other people and we have to do her work on top of ours. I don't plan to give her the poppet but I plan to recast to the spell every month, without the need to replace the herbs. So far she hasnt been out this month due to illnesses. |
