Divination Spell

i read somewhere about a simple spell you could use to divine a possible outcome to a problem or situation. 1 small mirror. paper pen what you are supposed to do- as i can recall it- is write multiple outcomes or answers onto a sheet of paper, tearing off each answer and balling it up. then, when you have them all balled and held cupped in between your hands (like dice) then you stare into the mirror and visualize on your problem or question. then you toss all the balls of paper at the mirror. the one that lands closest to you is supposed to be the answer. if you have more than one, you can do it again until you end up with one answer. i'm not sure as to how well this method does, but i try to look at it as i would tarot or rune stones. it is more of a meditation on a problem or question, that will eventually lead to the answer through thought and proper action. as to the use of a mirror- because simple me, i like to cut through the middle man, and a mirror doesnt seem necessary to me- i dont see what point the mirror might have when you could just use a hat and pull one out on chance. lol. but however it works, and for whatever reasons, at least i have this typed out as a reminder for later.
