My technique for charging something wooden. It's the way I tend to make my Talismans. You will need:
Aluminum
Your Wood (Something small enough to be wrapped)
Metal Tongues
Your Charged/Blessed Water with purpose
A stove that can produce flames
Salt and Incense (For the other elements)
First, put your symbols on the wood. Whatever you are trying to set your purpose for.
Second, Have it soaked in your Blessed water for 1-3 days, whatever feels right for you. If you are the one to tie it to the cycles of the Moon, start on a New Moon, finish when it gets past the Half Moon.
Third, Wrap your Talisman in the Foil. Foil works well for visualization. Imagine imbue your purpose into the object. The foil is like a cocoon.
Forth, The fire and the salt is ready, first bring the object into the flames until you see steam try to leave it. Then you will place the object back in the water, with the foil still on, then take it out, and put the salt on it. Have it run through the incense smoke now, and then put it right back in the flame. Repeat about three times, or when it feels right for you.
The final stop will be back in the water to cool down. Tear of the foil in the water, then take the talisman and run it through the incense again. Should be done, the wood coloration will be more grey, but it has a lot more potential charged this way.
Between the water it soaked in was sacred and meant for the object. and the fact it got close to the fire, without burning. |
