| This is not a spell per se, but a praising of the Goddess and a formula to earn her favor. During a full moon encircled by a Corona, face Luna and recite this poem which I entitled, 'Corona Venatricis': At night's death and through dawn's first hour, Pale Luna rises, filled with power. As her rays of blinding silver shine down, This immortal huntress dons her crown. Ye clever and wise who seek her favor, Bare thy heads with arms raised in prayer. Upon ye worthy, her gifts will shower, Yet, hungered greed, her hounds devour. If so blessed, thou does well to heed, To live careful in word and deed. Pay thy mistress all due homage, Lest she spills thy blood in righteous outrage. Tarry not long with this rite, Or the Goddess, impatient, shall put thee to flight. Woe to ye who lose that race, And glory to she who doth give chase. |
