| I utilize a form of geomancy to divine the truth/future. To do this, you will need a total of 10 stones, a scrying pendulum and a small piece of silver, ex. a mercury dime. With these materials, you can perform a type of scrying. To do this, set the ten stones and silver in a scrying tree thus: I II III IV Null V VI VII VIII IX X There is a very specific reason to place the stones in this configuration and I stress the importance of choosing and placing your stones very carefully. Not only should you choose stones specific to your horoscope, but each placement has a special significance. Their significance is listed below: I=Ego=Self II=Animus=Soul III=Natura=Instincts IV=Scientia=Knowledge Null=Nihil=Void V=Cupiditas=Desire VI=Motus=Motion VII=Materia=Matter VIII=Callosiosus=Callousness IX=Misericordia=Compassion X=Vita=Life Numerals I-IV makes up the nature of each individual and their relationship with the mundane world, so it is important that the first three most closely represent your nature. For the fourth, I use a 'battery' stone; personally, I would recommend an unbroken geode. Numerals (V-IX) represent the nature of the divine world. There is more leeway with which stones one chooses. They don't have to match the scryer's nature, but the natures described in the above list. For the null, one could use a variety of minerals ranging from lead to pewter to silver. Personally, I favor silver because it purifies the interaction between the mundane and arcane worlds while not interrupting the connection. As for the pendulum itself, that too must match your horoscope sign. All in all, once set up, you may ask your questions of the divine. If you're a Leo like I am, your scrying tree should have stones like these: I=Tiger Iron II=Unbroken Geode III=Tiger Eye IV=Sardonyx Null=Mercury Dime V=Quartz Crystal VI=Bloodstone VII=Hematite VIII=Snowflake Obsidian IX=Mahogany Obsidian X=Jade Pendulum=Ruby Pendant Naturally, the strength and weakness of this method of divination is that your questions will be limited to yes/no/inconclusive answers. Before you ask your question, you must first determine the base of the responses. I do this by saying the word 'SET'. The pendulum will then begin spinning in a circle about the null. This will be the standard response for a 'yes' answer. A 'no' answer will spin in the opposite direction while an 'inconclusive' answer will swing in a linear fashion.
