Purification Ritual for Pendulums

Note: If the pendulum has corrodible metal, perhaps skip this ritual, and find a substitute--this uses salt and water. Purpose: To re-establish a connection with the pendulum, either after someone else uses it, or whenever it feels it needs cleansing Ingredients: Pendulum Opaque mug Salt (coarse, if possible) Mortar & Pestle (or grinder) (if needed) Distilled Water (if available) Method: 1) Put 1/2 cup hot (about 60 degrees Celsius, if possible) water in the mug. 2) Grind about 3 tsp of salt. 3) Add the salt to the hot water, and swirl in the mug until it's mostly dissolved. 4) Add the pendulum. 5) Swirl. Say a blessing if you like. 6) Drain the brine. 7) Add about 1/4 cup cold water to the mug. 8) Swirl. 9) Drain water, and remove pendulum.
